A Nudge To A Fully Blown Tilt
I don’t support this ticket on any way because for me unethical issues should be place aside. But this poker issue is worth mentioning and I don’t intend to leave it aside. Only time will tell, but whenever it is, it is really inevitable that you are going to meet and play with someone who is in danger in becoming a life tilt player.
This is the stage where they go from tilt to a full blown life tilt. You see, you can make this a very profitable venture for yourself. You can took advantage of the situation and push them over the edge. But the question is, are you going to? Or are going to let the game play by itself?
Some players who experience this kind of tilt are the better ones. Players who played tilt in purpose don’t count. You can actually see that good players are in trouble by looking at their actions and analyzing their facial expressions.
As one of the greatest poker advisor said, Mike Caro, “Among equally skilled opponents it is the player who tilts the least that will come out on top.” You don’t have to understand it, because the statement already said its meaning.
You need to avoid tilt as early as possible even though our we cannot stop our emotions. However, we must learn to control our emotions in order for us to eliminate steam, thus eliminating the possibility of tilt.
Choosing to push your opponent over the edge when they are on tilt is a personal choice. For me, an unethical player deserves to be push all the way. And I won’t have any regrets after that.
But if you think that, that player is a good and ethical individual you can help them get out of the table and you’ll never know when the time comes that you’re in need, they might give their helping hands to you.
Pushing a player in a full blown tilt is quiet easy. You only need to make a rude unsolicited comment directed to the concern players and its done. Or you may want to tell them that you intended to bluff them on the last round. You can do that and turn into a jerk. Remember, reputation and integrity are the values respected in the game and you can’t afford to lose that just to gain a pot or two.
A poker player’s reputation is important. If you have a good reputation, help is always on your side no matter where you go. On the other side, players with bad reputation find themselves lacking of friends who can help then in times of need.
Having a not so good reputation can hinder you to become a good poker player. So start out right and do what’s good.
