One tell that is not hard to miss at the table is how the players stacked their chips. In general, loose aggressive players typically maintain unorganized/sloppy stacks, while tight conservative players keep well organized/neat stacks.

Even though you don’t have any physical contact in online poker, you can still spot a tell. Just study the patterns made by your opponents. Mostly, how long they spend to make a decision during a hand is a tell that you should observe. Stack this info in your mind and maybe it will help you to make decisions in the following hands.

One case of online poker tell is the quick call. Everybody plays psychologist in poker, so don’t be bothered if someone called your bet quickly. They are just intimidating you to show that they are not afraid of your bet. However, this move indicates a weak or moderate hand. Talking about reverse psychology.

If you see a player that does the trick above don’t be intimidated. If they had a strong hand they should have re-raised a bet not called you bet. But always be cautious. You may ask yourself, is he not bluffing?

May be he had a strong hand and only waits for me to re-raise my bet again in order to baffle me. In anyway, you just have to act in accordance with the hand that you have.
