Know What To Do To Stop Tilt

Tilt is a term in poker which means a state of mental confusion or frustration in which a player adopts a less than optimal strategy, usually resulting in the player becoming over-aggressive. It has stages and this stages corresponds how worst a person can tilt. The first stage of tilt is relatively harmless. This is because the player is only slightly frustrated but can still play poker on its best. This sort of tilt can be cause by bad beat, an outdraw, if luck runs out a player’s side and of course any personal problem that’s bothering the concern individual that he brought to the poker table.

On its first stage, tilt seems like nothing but only a distraction. However, once started and never trimmed tilt we flow to its second stage and that would be Tilt. Stage 1 is the bridge and Stage 2 is the one you should afraid of. At Stage 1, you can still handle yourself, but if you are careless enough to ignore the symptoms Stage 2 will set in eventually.

The second stage of tilt is characterized by a player going wild, playing buffs often, betting big before the flop, betting big in expectation of a miracle card and so on. This is a highly unstable stage wherein the player experience a lot of emotions including hopelessness, dejection and anger. With this elated emotions you’ll be able to develop steam which can make your game worst and will be worst if you won’t stop playing.

On this level you are aware that you need to stop playing but you can’t. You need to recover your lose by betting and betting to any kind of cards you have. But you end up losing again and again. If you don’t snap out you’ll soon realize that you’re already playing as a stage 3 tilt which is commonly called life-tilt. At this stage, you don’t see anything, but you only feel the emotion that you need to win and this is not a good idea. This can led to really bad consequences. Stage 3 tilt can make you lose your whole money plus loans, borrowed etc.

The things that you should do. In order not to become a player who plays tilt, you must not let emotions rule your decisions. You must also learn to know the early signs of tilt and correct it as soon as possible. Early because once you got on the third stage, you won’t be able to recognize that you’re on tilt because you only think about what you’re feeling.

Another prevention method you could use is not bringing financial stuffs when you’re planning to have a game.

Bad beats is not intentionally carried by players, it only occurs occasionally. Don’t complain when you played a great hand but still beaten by someone with a poor one. This is a normal occurrence.

Actually, its better to have this infrequent bad beats that playing with a nomad soul.
