Security Breach Inside Ladbrokes

Ciaran O’Brien, spokes person of the Ladbrokes claim that they have experienced a security breach with all the personal information. According to the Australian website, their files have been seen by someone who does not work for them.

Their client’s home addresses, gambling histories in the poker site, account numbers, date of births, phone numbers and email numbers are the personal information of each client that are affected by the security breach.

Security breach from Ladbrokes is directed to Dinitha Subasinghe who happens to be the former Ladbrokes consultant and a Sri-Lankan-born IT expert. However, all the accusations were denied by Subasinghe.

It was believed by the Ladbrokes that the security breach happens through Mail Online. They have already passed all the files to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), a British data watchdog that investigates the case.

O’Brien assures all their clients that they are doing the best that they can do to protect all the personal information of the clients. Their company has been working diligently t to find out the real culprit behind it. ICO together with the company are now working together to solve the case. Since it is considered as a criminal case, police as well as newspapers are working to identify and arrest the culprit.

As of the moment, Ladbrokes is working to reach out to all their clients to apologize for the said incident and reassuring them that their personal information is being protected.
